Midwest Banjo Camp Speaker




Bring your brown bag lunch to the Library Lecture Room on Friday, June 6th, for Lunch Learn & Laugh. Bart Reiter will talk about how he became a banjo maker. Bart is volunteering his time in support of the Midwest Banjo Camp, June 6-8, 2008 (http://www.midwestbanjocamp.com/). We will meet noon-1:00pm and all are welcome.

HAPPY HOBBY

It's a fun crafty time making our own personal journal/book---bring your ideas and any pictures/quotations that you want to include in your book. Book Group on May 28th


The Book Group will meet in the Betsy Dole Women's Resource Center on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, to discuss "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson (1999). Join us at 3PM in the Upton Conservatory building to talk about this vivid and gritty young adult novel. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are served. Questions? Lunch Learn & Laugh
