Summertime Programs for Youth

Join us all summer long for fun times in the Library! Kids, tweens and teens are welcome to come in for crafts, games, story times, and movies. Please note: Children under nine years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Questions? Call Jane Reiter @ 269.749.7387.

STORY TIME, June 3-August 12, 2008
10:30am in the Children's Room (ground floor)

CRAFTS, Library Lecture Room (main floor)
June 5 1:30-3:00pm Youth Knitting Come learn to knit and work
on your knitting skills

June 11 10:00am-noon Bead Creative! Make Beads & Create jewelry or key chains
with beads and other stuff

June 19 1:30-3:00pm Youth Knitting Come learn to knit and work
on your knitting skills

June 25 10:00am-noon Patriotic Crafts Express yourself with red,
white and blue!

July 10 1:30-3:00pm Youth Knitting Come learn to knit and work
on your knitting skills

July 16 10:00am-noon Very Basic Scrapbooking We will create a simple
scrap-book---bring pictures that you wish
to include in your small book

July 24 1:30-3:00pm Youth Knitting Come learn to knit and work
on your knitting skills

July 30 10:00am-noon Flower Power Summer is blooming with
all sorts of handmade flowers!

August 7 1:30-3:00pm Youth Knitting Come learn to knit and work
on your knitting skills

August 13 10:00am-noon School Crafts We will decorate a folder and
a file box in preparation for fall— and make locker mirrors

August 21 1:30-3:00pm Youth Knitting Come learn to knit and work
on your knitting skills. Can you
complete your summer project?
